The Juventus striker Federico Bernardeschi told his story during the teen years when he was very close to ending his football career. A heart problem could have picked out one of the most talented Italian footballers in the game. Bernardeschi remembered his good friend, Davide Astori, when they both played together for Fiorentina. Less than a year ago Astorri left us because of a heart problem.

`When I was 16, I had to get into the Fiorentina Primavera. During a medical test, the team doctor found a problem. I underwent thorough examinations and realized that my heart was expanded. The doctors did not know if I could continue playing football. I could not believe it. I had to stop football for six months. These were the six most difficult months in my life. I was living alone in Florence, and there was nothing I could do!`, Bernardeschi said.

`Finally, I succeed in overcoming the problem of diet and medication. This moment has changed me for sure. Now I am more happy about my successes. Before I went to Juventus I talked to Davide Astori. He understood my desire to leave Florence, but he was not happy. A few weeks after his death I tattooed the number she was playing with. Wherever I go, he`s with me and protects me!`, the striker finished.
