Soccer tipster David Silva claims he touched the ball on De Broyne`s goal, but VAR found no evidence
Manchester City won by 3-0 Aston Villa and came close to three points behind leader Liverpool, who were less than a match mentioned by soccer picks record away. The Champions played a strong second half, in which they resolved all three goals, but the second goal, recorded in the name of Kevin De Broyne, caused a lot of discussion. The Belgian centers the ball that crosses several players, then at the last moment Rahim Sterling, in front of Tom Heaton, backs away and the ball enters the door. The VAR examined the situation for an ambush of the English national for four minutes, but the hit was eventually taken into account. At the very center of De Broyne`s situation, the situation is rather thin, perhaps Sterling is on par with the last defender, but it is absolutely certain that if David Silva touches the ball, then City`s wing is in an ambush position. Video assistants apparently did not see this, but after the duel Kevin de Broyne himself said that the goal should not be awarded to him, as David Silva claimed to have touched the ball.
According to the Premier League official website, Manchester City`s second goal has been scored because there is no clear repeat proving that David Silva played with the ball. The Spaniard, however, told Referee Graham Scott that he did just that. However, the decision was different.
