Soccer tipster Bayern stepped on the world club top and equaled the record of Barça
Bayern (Munich) became world club champions after a 1-0 victory over Tigres in the final of the tournament advised by live soccer matches in Doha. The only goal was scored by Benjamin Pavar in the 61st minute. The Bavarians triumphed with the world title for the second time in their history and became only the second team to win six trophies in a year. Barcelona achieved the same in 2009.
In 2020, Bayern made a treble in Germany, and added the trophies from the Champions League and the European Super Cup to the awards on the home stage. Today, the team of Hansi Flick finished what started with the cup of the World Club Championship, which was supposed to take place in December, but was moved due to the pandemic.
In the semifinals in Doha, Bayern eliminated Egyptian Al Ahly after a 2-0 victory. Tigres became the first representative of CONCACAF to play in the final of the World Club Championship. In the quarterfinals, the Mexican team defeated Ulsan Hyundai, then beat Brazilian Palmeiras 1-0, but against the Bavarians it was on the losing side. Bayern came out without Thomas Mueller, who tested positive for coronavirus hours before the final. Jerome Boateng was released in Germany due to the tragic death of his ex-girlfriend.
In Boateng`s absence, Niklas Zule and Luca Hernandez acted as central defenders. Benjamin Pavar and Alfonso Davis were the full-backs before Manuel Neuer, David Alaba and Joshua Kimih partnered in the middle of the pitch, and goal scorer Robert Lewandowski had the support of Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabri and Kingsley Coman. The attack on the Tigres was led by Andre-Pierre Gignac. The French veteran has scored all three goals for the team in the previous two games. The other striker in the starting lineup of the Mexicans was Carlos Gonzalez Espinola.
The Tigres team also featured other popular names - former Porto defender Diego Reyes, Carlos Salcedo, who has experience in Serie A and the Bunesliga, Brazilian Rafael Carioca and Villarreal player Javier Aquino. The referee of the final match in Doha was the Uruguayan Esteban Ostojic, who played a freer game, but generally coped with his task.
The match started with a curious position in front of Neuer`s goal, but Jinyak`s shot was killed in aBayern responded with a shot from Koman, which did not bother Guzman. Lewandowski did not hit the ball well in the penalty area and failed to bring the Germans forward. In the 13th minute, a breakthrough by Alfonso Davis cut through the defense of Tigres, and the Canadian`s pass reached Lewandowski, but he failed to strike between several players in yellow. The Mexicans were not given the opportunity to hold the ball for a long time and tried to find their two strikers with long passes.
In the 18th minute Kimih remained uncovered about ten meters from the penalty area and shot hard. The ball went between several players and went into the goal, but the goal was canceled because Lewandowski was in an ambush and prevented the guard Guzman to follow the path of the ball. Bayern`s pressure was growing fiercer. A flank attack by the Bavarians ended with a sharp cross by Koman, but Carlos Salcedo intervened at the last moment. Seconds later G?
