Soccer tips Red Bull to end Sky TV boycott at next race in Brazil
At the Brazilian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen will return to communicate with representatives of Sky Sports F1.
Business as usual with Sky will resume in Brazil, a Red Bull spokesman said.
At the stage in Mexico, the statements of Sky Sports F1 reporter Ted Kravitz, incorrect in the opinion of Max Verstappen, led to the decision of the world champion and his team to refuse further communication with representatives of the Sky teleconglomerate.
At the same time, Red Bull was not sanctioned by Formula 1 (Sky recently paid the series ? 1 billion for an exclusive show of F-1 until 2029 in the UK and Ireland), because with its boycott it did not violate contractual obligations - in the requirements for communication teamswith the press, specific TV companies and publications are not indicated.
The boycott of Red Bull does not seem to have affected Kravitz`s work either. After the attacks against Red Bull, the reporter went on the air during Sunday`s race in Mexico City.
Moreover, Ted, with his statements, caused a non-standard reaction from McLaren pilot Lando Norris.
Norris started 8th in Mexico City but fell back to 10th in the first lap, and Kravitz asked what was the reason:
- So I lost only two positions.
Well, that`s not optimal.
- Buddy, you should try driving.
