Bayern asked Shakhtar to reduce ticket prices for the Champions League match. The teams will play the match of the 6th round of the main stage of the Champions League in Gelsenkirchen. Shakhtar demands from Bayern fans 105 euros for a seated seat and 52 euros for a standing seat. Ticket prices have been significantly lower for previous home games. Initially, fans of the Munich club sent 55 thousand applications for tickets to the match. However, as it became known last Monday, only 19 thousand applications remained, 36 thousand were cancelled. Fan group Sudkurve Munchen called for a boycott of the game.
As Spox reports with reference to Bild, the Bayern management understands the dissatisfaction of its fans and has already turned to colleagues from the Ukrainian club with a request to set fairer ticket prices. So far no results have been achieved, but thanks to good personal relationships between the leaders, a solution seems possible.
Shakhtar, in turn, said that he had not received any requests from the Munich team.
